Do You Keep Scaring Men Off?

Wondering why things never seem to get past the first date? Feel like you keep sending men running the opposite direction? Do you not know what you are doing wrong? Well you're not alone, sometimes little things can be enough to set a guy off and have him running away from you. But by learning these things you can keep coming back instead of fleeing.

There are a few topics that can set him off and make him not return for a second date. The first may be the most obvious but some people do not realize to what extent they should follow it. You should never bring up past relationships or really anything very personal or emotional. Guys do not like to talk about emotions and depressing situations with people they are really close to, much less on the first date. It can also give the impression that if you can't even keep from talking about it for a first date, then what would the rest of the dates be like?

Money is another topic that should never really be brought up on a first date. It really gives off the wrong impression of your motives and what you are looking for in a relationship. A guy can be very sensitive about his salary and will not appreciate your asking or feeling like they are being judged by it. Asking what he does can be okay just to learn more about him, but keep it to simple questions about his job and stay away from the nitty gritty for at least a few dates. In fact until the relationship starts to get really serious you can stay away from any conversations about how much you make or how much he makes.

Don't spend a lot of time talking about people he doesn't know, and you really do not want to talk bad about anyone. First off he will most likely be bored to hear about people he doesn't know and second if you start talking bad about other people in front of a complete stranger, it doesn't say much good about you. He'll probably be wondering what you are going to say about him once the date is over.

Be yourself and be the type of person that he would want to have come back for a second date. Being overcome with nerves and searching for reassurances will also cause him to second guess another date. Be calm and confident in yourself and you'll definitely be the type of girl he wants to see again.

About The Last Woman Standing
After being married to their careers instead of each other for ten years, “Ace” and Lynette Bowers ended their marriage. Four years later however, it seems as though their love never ended – to both of their surprise and denial. Sheila Rushmore is Ace’s current girlfriend and a woman who is used to getting what she wants – except Ace’s commitment to marriage. When Sheila realizes Lynette may be the cause, she launches a plan to play the hand of God, instead of allowing God to bring the love they all desire in His way.
